The crews deployed launchers on the coast of the Baltic Sea and the Gulf of Finland, received target designation and carried out electronic missile launches at ship detachments. Objective control tools confirmed the successful destruction of all assigned targets.

More than 100 military personnel and about 15 units of military and special equipment were involved in the task execution, the Ministry of Defense specified.

Bastion Coastal Missile System

The Bastion anti-ship missile system is developed by MIC NPO Mashinostroyenia in two versions: the mobile Bastion-P and the stationary Bastion-S. The complex is designed to protect the sea coast.

The main tool for hitting targets of the Bastion is the launcher of the mobile complex on the MZKT-7930 chassis, which has two Onyx missiles with a warhead weighing 300 kg. They hit at a distance of up to 300 km at a speed of 680-750 m/s.

Bal Coastal Missile System

In the coastal defense system, Bal uses Kh-35 (3M24) anti-ship cruise missiles. The system is based on a heavy, highly mobile MZKT-7930 8x8 configuration chassis and carries 8 cylindrical containers with Kh-35 anti-ship cruise missiles.

Centralized fire control provides optimal target distribution of missiles with simultaneous guidance to 6 targets at once when controlled from one command post. The firing range is 260 km.
