Izhevsk Mechanical Plant (JSC IMZ, part of the Kalashnikov concern) has released a new series of MP-512S pneumatic rifles "Seasons". It includes 12 rifles, one for each month of the year, with thematic engravings on the receiver.
Each of the rifles, representing a month, has its own unique images of people, animals, birds, and nature, all made in a single copy. The images are made in the technique of recessed engraving using precious metals and colored enamel.
All MP-512S rifles of the "Seasons" series have a muzzle energy of up to 3 J, so anyone can purchase them. The stock from the MP-161 "Manul" product with minor modifications was used for the exclusive line. It is made of high-quality walnut, coated with linseed oil or varnish, which favorably emphasizes the noble wood pattern. The rifles are equipped with a "dovetail" rail, which allows you to securely attach a collimator sight or other optical devices. The stock of the product is decorated with an original mesh pattern made using a laser.
Each rifle comes with a passport with a certificate insert. The document indicates the names of the designer, engraver, and woodcarver. It also contains an individual number and an image of the engraving.
Earlier, the Izhevsk Mechanical Plantreleased a limited series of MP-512 "Hunting Dogs" rifles. Unique images of dogs of popular hunting breeds are engraved on the receiver, and the rifles themselves have received minor design changes.
