"Hunting Dogs": "Kalashnikov" released a limited series of MR-512 rifles

The receiver is engraved with unique images of hunting dog breeds, and the rifles themselves have undergone structural changes

The new collection from the Izhevsk Mechanical Plant includes only 10 rifles.

Each rifle is presented in a single copy. Included with it for the buyer is a passport with an identification insert, which indicates the names of the designer, engraver and woodcarver, as well as the individual number of the product.

The image of hunting dog breeds is made on the receiver in the technique of recessed engraving using precious metals. In addition to the external beauty of execution, the "Hunting Dogs" series also has structural differences:

  • smoother trigger;
  • improved shooting accuracy, confirmed by test firing;
  • stock for an exclusive series, with minor modifications taken from the MR-161 "Manul" small-bore carbine;
  • a "dovetail" type rail for mounting sighting devices.

This modification of the MR-512 air rifle was named "version 75" in honor of the 75th anniversary of the production of hunting weapons at the Izhmech, which is celebrated in 2024.

The management of Izhmech promises that the company will soon delight fans of exclusive weapons again. The release of another limited edition "Seasons" is being prepared.
