NefAZ PJSC has implemented a transport dispatch and monitoring system in its own vehicle fleet. The vehicles are necessary to provide production workshops and sites with equipment.
The system supplier is KAMAZ Digital, the auto giant's subsidiary IT company. It has developed the CHELNOK-Cargo software product. It includes a web panel for the dispatcher, as well as mobile applications for drivers on tablets and for workshop customers on smartphones.
The transport dispatch and monitoring system was developed to solve internal logistics problems at the enterprise. The project was approved and implemented in six months in the main and auxiliary workshops.
The system provides information about the current location of vehicles, their routes, travel and waiting times, and also tracks the status of drivers. This allows for effective control over the use of corporate vehicles, even distribution of trips between workshop customers, and reduction of empty mileage. Based on the collected data, the enterprise can analyze the workload of the vehicle fleet and evaluate the efficiency of its operation.
