Sales of the new extended Lada Aura sedan from AvtoVAZ in 2024 amounted to 263 cars. This data, published by Wroom.ru, includes cars sold to both end customers and dealers.
Mass production of the Lada Aura began in October 2024 in Togliatti, and sales started at the end of November. Sales figures were significantly below expectations. The company planned to produce about 3,000 of these cars. The result was modest, even considering the possible presence of cars produced but not sent to dealerships.
Information on Lada Aura sales for 2024 varies. The Autostat analytical agency reports 190 units sold, while AvtoVAZ reports 263.
For comparison, in November 2024, 14,741 Lada Granta cars and 8,078 Lada Vesta cars were sold. Thus, sales of Lada Granta and Lada Vesta exceeded sales of Lada Aura by 56 and 30 times, respectively. It is worth considering that Lada Aura went on sale only at the end of November.
Lada Aura is built on the Lada Vesta platform and features an extended wheelbase, improved interior trim, and a price starting from 2.6 million rubles. The car is equipped with a 1.8-liter gasoline engine with a capacity of 122 hp and a CVT. However, the high cost and niche nature of the model probably affected sales.
