The Ministry of Defense of Russia has shown footage of the combat work of the multi-purpose Mi-28NM "Night Hunter" attack helicopter. The rotorcraft performs tasks to destroy fortified areas and clusters of military equipment.
The helicopter is made according to the classical scheme with a four-bladed tail rotor and a five-bladed main rotor. The Mi-28NM is equipped with two VK-2500-02 turboshaft engines manufactured by the Russian company "Klimov" with a capacity of 2,700 hp each, as well as an auxiliary wing and a non-retractable tricycle landing gear.
The crew of the Mi-28NM - a pilot and a navigator-operator, it is possible to accommodate two passengers in the radio equipment compartment. The crew cabin is armored, the glass can withstand bullets up to 12.7 mm caliber.
The helicopter's armament includes a 30 mm caliber 2A42 cannon, an Ataka-V guided missile system of the air-to-surface class, Igla air-to-air missiles, blocks of unguided S-8 missiles of 80 mm caliber and S-13 of 130 mm caliber. Four suspension units can carry up to 1.6 tons of combat load.

- Take-off weight - 10 thousand 900 kg (normal), 11 thousand 700 kg (maximum)
- Range - 1 thousand 105 km (ferry), 500 km (practical)
- Maximum speed - 300 km/h, cruising - 265 km/h
- Practical ceiling - 5.7 thousand m
