Servicemen of the combined arms army of the Eastern Military District (EMD) carried out training firing from the RPG-7 grenade launcher. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.
The servicemen practiced fire missions both in offensive and defensive operations. They also improved their skills in occupying and masking firing positions and covert movement on the battlefield.
Before live firing, the servicemen studied the principle of using hand-held grenade launchers, types of projectiles, and methods of aiming. During the exercises, the grenade launcher operators demonstrated high accuracy in hitting targets.
The RPG-7V grenade launcher is designed to combat tanks, self-propelled artillery installations, and other armored targets of the enemy, to destroy enemy manpower in open areas, as well as in light shelters and urban-type structures.
