New technology for deploying large-sized antennas and satellite solar panels is being created by Reshetnev employees

It will reduce the time to create space technology and reduce its cost

Zheleznogorsk JSC "RESHEТNEV" continues to work on optimizing the production of domestic satellites. Now the company is creating and ready to test the technology of unification of deployment of large-sized antennas and solar panels of spacecraft.

Equipment and tooling are already ready for the production and ground experimental testing of universal controlled braking devices, wireless sensors, electric motors, release devices and force sensors.

These devices will ensure the deployment of onboard antennas and solar panels according to a given algorithm – in synchronous, sequential, or mixed mode. At the same time, it will not be necessary to change the design of the transformation system of large-sized mechanical systems. In 2025, it is planned to manufacture experimental samples of basic elements of deployment systems and conduct their design and refinement tests. The introduction of the technology of unification of deployment of large-sized mechanical transformable systems will allow the company "RESHEТNEV" to reduce the time to create space technology and reduce its cost.
