In Russia, in 2025, there will be more domestic professional refrigeration equipment under the Polair brand. Polair-Nedvizhimost was able to increase capacity after investing 221 million rubles in the modernization of production. They helped to increase the production of heat exchangers needed for the production of refrigeration equipment by 1.2 times.
Copper-aluminum brazed plate heat exchangers make Russian refrigerators more environmentally friendly by using a natural hydrocarbon component as a refrigerant: propane, or R290 refrigerant. This refrigerant is cheaper, more energy efficient, ozone-safe than fluorinated analogues, and less toxic.
In order to increase the production of heat exchangers and make their production safer, the federal Industrial Development Fund provided 90 million rubles in the form of a concessional loan under the joint federal-regional program "Component Products". Another 10 million rubles were allocated by the Industrial Development Fund of the Republic of Mari El.
The new production equipment purchased with funds from the IDF allowed us to switch to clean technologies, abandoning the use of perchlorethylene solvent. And along with a decrease in the diameter of the tube in the heat exchanger, we were also able to reduce the production cycle time by 15%, material consumption by 10% and the need for refrigerant in the refrigeration circuit by 15%.
Russian refrigerators and shock freezers are already in demand at enterprises, factory kitchens, unique cuisine restaurants, and in retail chains - for example, they can be found in Pyaterochka, Perekrestok, Dixy, and Vkusville.
After the enterprise in Mari El reaches its design capacity, the production of refrigerators is planned to be increased by 21%: they will produce up to 48.6 thousand pieces per year. There will also be more Polair shock freezers on the market by 19.3%: they will produce up to 772 pieces per year.
