The Russian Su-57 fifth-generation multirole fighter has reached the required characteristics. This was stated by the chief pilot of the Sukhoi Design Bureau of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, part of Rostec), test pilot Sergei Bogdan.
It happened that I flew the Su-57 at a stage when it still had the T-50 index and had a lot of overload restrictions. And immediately after it, I managed to get into the Su-35, it seems to be slightly lower in generation, but at such moments you realize that this machine can do everything. But at the same time, you understand that the Su-57 is still a "thoroughbred horse", a very promising aviation complex. Now, of course, the Su-57 has reached the required values in terms of characteristics.
Sergei Bogdan piloted the Su-57 during its premiere at the Airshow China air show in Zhuhai in November 2024. The fighter's display became a sensation at the air show.
The Su-57 is designed to destroy all types of targets, has internal armament, supersonic cruising speed, radio-absorbing coating (stealth technology) and the latest complex of onboard equipment.
