The Strela-10 anti-aircraft missile system reliably protects the sky on the line of combat contact from unmanned aerial vehicles. It is practically invisible to the enemy due to the absence of active radar means.
The system easily hits air targets at low and medium altitudes. This allows the Strela-10 to be used in various combat situations. The soldiers also always have a portable Igla anti-aircraft missile system ready.
It can work not only on gasoline-powered aircraft, but also on electric ones.
Ammunition for the SAM system includes 9M333 anti-aircraft guided missiles (SAMs), which are produced by the Kalashnikov concern. The advantage of the missile is the presence of a homing head. It operates in three modes: infrared, photo contrast and jamming. This is the third generation of guided weapons, which is ready for use and does not depend on the operator after launch.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Kalashnikov showed unique footage of tests of the latest remote-controlled Konkurs-M ATGM.
