Specialists from one of the car services disassembled a Haval Jolion with a mileage of 130,000 kilometers. The owner brought the car in for soundproofing. We tell you what problems were identified in the crossover.
Experts noted that the paintwork of the "Jolion" turned out to be extremely thin. Three years of operation in the Vladimir region were not in vain. There are many chips on the body, especially on the hood. Owners will be pleased that no corrosion was found.
There are complaints about the operation of the power unit. According to experts, the engine is not working correctly. It is claimed that this problem arose in the car from the factory.
The compression in the cylinders is even, but the internal condition of the engine showed the presence of slight carbon deposits and barely noticeable scratches on the cylinder walls. The engine and gearbox do not have leaks, but this does not exclude the possibility of hidden problems in the future.
Special attention was drawn to a find in the trunk: water was found under the upholstery. The reasons for this remain unclear — perhaps this is the result of an accident, a design feature, or an error during assembly, since the ventilation hole was blocked by a soundproofing block.
Despite the attractive price of the new Haval Jolion 2025 (from 2,149,000 to 2,949,000 rubles), potential buyers should take into account the identified shortcomings and possible risks.
Recall that Haval for Russian roads is produced at a full-cycle plant near Tula.
