The Arbitration Court of Moscow has ruled that JSC "Central Design Bureau of Transport Engineering" (CDB TMS) must pay the Russian Ministry of Defense 10 million rubles as a penalty for disrupting the development of a special wagon for transporting missiles.
In 2020, the Ministry of Defense and CDB TMS entered into a contract for the development of a specialized wagon for transporting missiles by rail. However, the enterprise failed to meet the terms of the agreement on time and did not fulfill it in full.
According to the case materials, the initial amount of the Ministry of Defense's claims was almost 88 million rubles, but the court reduced this amount when making the decision.
CDB TMS is one of the leading enterprises in the creation of new and modernization of existing railway vehicles for the transportation of rocket and space technology. The company is located in Tver and is subordinate to the Roscosmos State Corporation.
