A new engineering center has appeared in the south of Moscow, which will be engaged in the development and production of electronic automotive components. It is located in the Nagatino-Sadovniki district on a plot of 0.14 hectares. The construction of the center became part of a major investment project.
For the construction of the facility, the city provided the investor with a land plot of 0.14 hectares at a preferential rate of one ruble per year.
The area of the engineering center is approximately 17 thousand square meters. To purchase the necessary equipment, the resident received a preferential loan from the Moscow Fund for Support of Industry and Entrepreneurship. The interest rate on the loan is three percent per annum.
The newly built building will house research and design centers, as well as divisions dealing with information technology and electronics. The engineering center plans to employ about five hundred specialists, said Anatoly Garbuzov, Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy.
Earlier it became known that the Moskvich plant plans to expand production capacity for the production of engines and gearboxes. In this regard, the possibility of building a new plant is being considered, which will produce engines not only for Moskvich cars, but also for other Russian automakers.
