The main tasks for the Russian military long-range aviation in 2025 will be maintaining a high level of combat readiness, serviceability of aircraft and weapons, and mastering new and modernized combat equipment. This was stated in the Ministry of Defense.
The department emphasized that important tasks also include the formation of a high level of moral, political and psychological state of personnel, improving the system of logistics, and high-quality training of military command and control bodies.
In general, the effectiveness of the use of long-range aviation is achieved by ensuring the required level of training of flight crews, personnel of all categories to perform combat missions in various conditions, as well as maintaining the required level of serviceability of aviation equipment.
Long-range aviation of the Aerospace Forces is armed with Tu-95MS and Tu-160 strategic missile carriers, as well as Tu-22M3 long-range bombers and tanker aircraft.
