Самолёты УТС-800 с турбовинтовым двигателем передали Минобороны России

The aircraft are intended for flight training of military personnel

The first UTS-800 training aircraft have been transferred to the balance of the Russian Ministry of Defense. This was reported by a source in the defense department.

The new UTS-800 aircraft model is equipped with a turboprop engine. The aircraft will be used for professional selection and flight training of military personnel.

UTS-800 are equipped with all modern flight safety systems and are not inferior to foreign counterparts in terms of maneuverability, thrust-to-weight ratio, and payload.

The training aircraft was developed at the Ural Civil Aviation Plant (UZGA). The first flight of the aircraft took place on October 28, 2023.

The UTS-800 has two fuel filling options — multi-purpose and for performing aerobatics. By varying the amount of fuel filled, you can get either an aerobatic aircraft for training in aerobatics, or a significant flight duration, for example, patrolling or flights along routes.
Dmitry Tinyakov, Chief Designer of UTS-800

The aircraft's power plant consists of a four-blade AV-410P propeller and a VK-800SP turboprop engine. Power on the shaft in takeoff mode — 806 hp

The engine compartment is equipped with a fire extinguishing system, which also allows you to promptly receive information about a fire in other compartments of the aircraft.
