The crews of the Ka-27 naval aviation helicopters (a multi-purpose helicopter developed by the Kamov Design Bureau in the 70s) practiced landing on the deck of the corvette "Boiky" in the Baltic Sea. This was reported by the press service of the USC.

During the exercises, the Ka-27 pilots made more than 20 landings on the ship's helicopter площадки drifting and on the move. They also practiced tactical methods of searching for and tracking submarines of a mock enemy, and interacted with the crew of the corvette "Boiky" to perform anti-submarine tasks in the Baltic Sea.

About Project 20380

The corvette "Boiky" (Project 20380) was built at the "Severnaya Verf" shipyard in St. Petersburg. It joined the Baltic Sea Fleet in 2013. The ship is armed with "Uran" anti-ship missiles, "Igla" and "Verba" man-portable air defense systems.
