Multipurpose super-maneuverable Su-35S fighters performed air cover for the crews of the Russian Aerospace Forces on the front line. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.
During the performance of combat missions, the crews of Su-35S fighters practiced air cover for aircraft of assault and bomber aviation, as well as helicopters of army aviation when launching air strikes on enemy armored vehicles. Also, with the help of an aviation weapons complex, the Su-35S crews discovered the location of enemy air defense facilities.
Su-35S is a supersonic fighter of the "4++" generation. Further development of the "single-seat" line of Su-27 aircraft.
On 12 suspension points, the Su-35S can carry guided missiles of the "air-to-surface", "air-to-air" class, air bombs of various calibers and unguided missiles. Maximum combat load - 8 tons. Equipped with a GSh-30-1 cannon with a caliber of 30 mm (ammunition load - 150 rounds).
