Ice-class Arc4 tugs (capable of independent navigation in rarefied first-year Arctic ice up to 0.6 m thick in winter-spring navigation and up to 0.8 m in summer-autumn) "Khabarovsk", "Manorsky" and "Shantary" (project DJHC9050/9051/9052) have been handed over to the customer. They will be used in the water area of the "Port Elga" coal terminal in the Khabarovsk Territory, the press service of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping reported.

Main characteristics of Arc4 class tugs:

  • Length — 30.17 m
  • Width — 10.43 m
  • Draft — 3.6 m
  • Engine power — 2x2032 kW
  • Displacement — 612 t
  • Crew — 8 people

The "Port Elga" terminal is part of the Far Eastern cluster of UK "Elsi". It will be able to receive vessels with a deadweight of up to 100 thousand tons of the Panamax class (the standard for container ships, tankers and other vessels that can pass through the locks of the Panama Canal).
