Rumors that the production of Lada Niva Legend has been temporarily suspended are not true. This is confirmed by insiders from Avtograd, who provided photos from the assembly line: the production of SUVs continues.
The welding and painting complex of Niva production works overtime and annually produces about 235 bodies of Lada Niva Legend. All of them go to the main assembly line for the final assembly of SUVs.
This is in response to information on the network about the alleged cessation of production of this model.
However, a couple of days ago, the president of AvtoVAZ, Maxim Sokolov, announced that in Russia the production of the legendary "Niva" has stopped. One of the factors was that the production plan for 2024 was successfully completed: the plant produced more than 500 thousand cars. Another important reason was the decrease in sales, which was caused by the high key rate and, as a result, the increase in the cost of loans.
