The defeat can be carried out by anti-aircraft guided missiles 40N6 and 9M82MD/MV of the S-400 and S-300V4 complexes at a distance of 380-400 km, as well as by Kh-47M2 Kinzhal missiles at airfields, or Kh-47M2 with frequency-adapted active-passive radar seekers and fuses.
These active-passive radar seekers are technically capable of detecting the radiation of the PS-890 radar, locking on to accurate auto-tracking, and ensuring the destruction of the Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missile during patrol.
Experts warned that the ASC-890 AEW&C is capable of detecting ground objects such as the Iskander-M OTRK or 5P85SM-2 launchers of the S-400 complexes at a distance of about 230-250 km, after which target designation can be issued to ATACMS operational-tactical missile systems.
