The American F-16 fighter is a very expensive piece of equipment, but in terms of functionality, it differs little from the Russian Su-24 bomber. This opinion was expressed by the Governor of the Kherson region, Vladimir Saldo.

Saldo noted that when approaching the line of combat contact, the F-16 immediately falls under the defeat of air defense forces.
Su-24 is a Soviet and Russian front-line bomber designed to deliver missile and bomb strikes in simple and complex weather conditions, day and night, including at low altitudes with targeted destruction of ground and surface targets.
