Excalibur и GMLRS больше неопасны. Российская РЭБ превратила их в пустышки на фронте

R-330Zh "Zhitel" and "Pole-21" systems have proven effective

Russian electronic warfare equipment at the forefront has significantly reduced the effectiveness of 155-mm M982 Block IA Excalibur guided rocket-assisted projectiles. This was pointed out by military expert Evgeny Damantsev.

According to him, this is due to the low noise immunity of the GPS correction antenna modules and weak shielding from the lower hemisphere.

The R-330Zh "Zhitel", "Pole-21" and "Krasukha-2O" EW complexes also adapted their frequency modulators to Western weapons. The effectiveness of Excalibu decreased from 70% to 10 - 6%, which is associated with a significant increase in the CEP on the descending branches of grazing or ballistic trajectories.

At the same time, the inertial navigation guidance module does not ensure the preservation of CEP even at the level of 30 - 50 m. A similar situation is observed with 227-mm GMLRS projectiles and JDAM-ER bombs.
