The Russian Oreshnik medium-range hypersonic missile is a modern weapon with no chance of being shot down. This was stated by President Vladimir Putin during a direct line in Gostiny Dvor.

There is no easy chance to shoot down Oreshnik. Warheads are deployed in a matter of seconds. There is currently no anti-missile system capable of shooting down Oreshnik.
The President noted that the Russian defense industry already has other developments, and developments of the newest period.
