The range of the newest Russian medium-range ballistic missile "Oreshnik" is more than 5 thousand kilometers. The parameters of the missile were revealed by Russian President Vladimir Putin during a direct line combined with an annual press conference.
One thousand, one and a half thousand and more — up to 5.5 thousand — that's the range of Oreshnik.
It is believed that the Oreshnik missile, equipped with a warhead with guided individual targeting units, develops a speed of up to 11 Mach numbers.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the first regiment in history with the S-500 Prometheus air defense system is completing its formation: a reliable shield of the Russian sky against ballistic missiles.
