Artificial intelligence (AI) technologies are being actively implemented in the Moscow region. In total, about 30 such projects are being implemented. This was announced by the head of the region, Andrey Vorobyov.
At the award ceremony for regions that successfully solve important tasks with the help of AI, the Moscow region was recognized as a leader for the project to check nutrition in schools and social institutions. The event was held on December 12.
The President emphasizes the importance of AI development. We are actively engaged in digitalization. This is a key tool for managing a large system.
According to the head of the region, there are currently more than 30 projects using AI in the Moscow region, while two years ago there were only 9. There are plans to implement 6 more projects. The main functions are recognition of photos, videos and text.
Vorobyov said that AI assistants make appointments for patients with doctors and report on the start of heating. It helps to identify communal violations, such as garbage in the yards, and monitor their elimination by analyzing data from cameras.
The Governor added that since 2023, neural networks have begun to check nutrition in schools and social institutions. To do this, an employee uploads a photo of a tray with food to the application «Moscow Region Checks». AI recognizes the dish and checks its compliance with the menu.
