«Газпром нефть» в 3 раза увеличила производство синтетических масел в этом году

Productivity increased due to the launch of the hydroisomerization dewaxing complex at Omsk Lubricants Plant

The Omsk Lubricants Plant (OZSM) has launched a hydroisomerization dewaxing (HIDW) complex. This allowed "Gazprom Neft" to triple the output of basic components for synthetic oils for automotive and industrial equipment in the first 9 months of 2024.

The HIDW complex is unique to the Russian oil refining industry and operates on all possible types of petroleum feedstock for oil production. The three-stage technological scheme ensures the production of products that meet global quality standards.

In the hydroisomerization dewaxing process, a chemical reaction occurs, as a result of which the molecular structure of the base oil changes under the influence of hydrogen. This improves the key properties of the synthetic component.

HIDW allows the creation of all types of motor, transmission and industrial oils with high performance characteristics.

Earlier www1.ru reported that in Russia they created a membrane for cleaning used motor oils.
