The new "Epokha" combat module with a 57mm automatic cannon for the infantry fighting vehicle "Manul" was created by engineers at "Kurganmashzavod" (part of the "High-Precision Systems" holding). The vehicle will be protected from small-caliber shells and fragments of field artillery, and will be provided with mobility in all road conditions, including overcoming water obstacles without preparation.
The use of the new module will give "Manul" the ability to reliably engage similar enemy equipment with artillery fire from a long distance.
The use of modern 57-millimeter ammunition will ensure the fulfillment of a wider range of tasks. A unified technical base and unification of components with the BMP-3 reduces costs at all stages of the product life cycle: development, manufacturing, personnel training, operation and repair.
The uninhabited "Epokha" combat module, in addition to the 57mm automatic cannon, is armed with "Kornet" anti-tank missiles and light ATGMs of the new "Bulat" complex. There are also 7.62-mm machine gun and two PKT machine guns installed in the front of the hull.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Russia built a Tushil-class missile frigate for India with "Caliber", "Onyx" and BrahMos missiles.
