JSC "AvtoVAZ" commented on the information about the change of supplier of head optics for Lada Granta cars.
Earlier it was reported that AvtoVAZ had replaced the headlight supplier for this model. Insiders reported that headlights for Lada Granta are now supplied by a manufacturer from India, while previously they came from a company from Uzbekistan.
AvtoVAZ stated that information about suppliers is sanction-sensitive, and therefore data on components is not disclosed. At the same time, it was emphasized that the average percentage of production localization for the Lada model range is 90–95%.
