GE HealthCare, the medical division of the American corporation General Electric, has requested radio frequencies in Russia for high-frequency devices. The request was submitted to the State Commission for Radio Frequencies.
The request is expected to be considered at the end of December. It concerns frequencies in the 101 MHz range, which are mainly used in medical equipment, such as MRI machines.
Experts note that the 101 MHz frequency has a minimal level of interference and good penetration into tissues, which makes it ideal for remote diagnostics and telemedicine.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the "St. Panteleimon" train uses the "Cels" system for diagnosing patients.
