The head of one of the largest automotive enterprises in Russia announced this at the presentation of the "Company of the Future" award, which is presented with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development. Maxim Sokolov in 2024 became the laureate of the special nomination "Person of the Year". It is awarded annually for the successful management of a large company that helps the development of the economy and provides thousands of jobs, provided that it scales and launches new projects.
Despite unprecedented sanctions pressure and other challenges of our time, we were able to ensure maximum productivity of our assembly lines. Now the plant produces a new car every 25 seconds. And this year we will take a new level in terms of production volume: more than 500,000 cars. These achievements are possible thanks to the labor feat of our team. Our bestseller LADA Granta is in the top 5 best-selling cars in the world. And our new flagship — the business-class car LADA Aura — is a response to the challenges, as well as a demonstration of achieving technological sovereignty – the goal set for us by the president of our country.
Earlier, the company had already assured that if demand for LADA grows, they are ready to produce more than half a million cars in 2025.
