JSC "Ruzhimmash" has certified tank cars model 15-1232-06 on an innovative bogie with a 25 t axle load, model 18-9891, for the safe transportation of nitric acid. The information appeared on the official website of Rosaccreditation.
The unique advantages of the bogie are its gentle impact on the railway infrastructure, reduced wheel flange wear, and reduced dynamic load on the side frames. In November of this year, its resource run tests were completed on the experimental ring of the All-Russian Research Institute of Railway Transport. The distance covered under the supervision of experts was 1 million 200 thousand kilometers.
The transition to an innovative bogie is an important part of the development strategy of RM Rail. This technology is already actively used to expand the product line.
