AvtoVAZ has shared its production plans for 2025, stating its readiness to produce up to half a million LADA cars, with the possibility of increasing volumes if market demand grows.
The company emphasized that it has the necessary capacity, personnel, and other resources to fulfill the plan. Nevertheless, the production of 500,000 cars is an indicative figure, and the company will flexibly respond to changes in the market, taking into account macroeconomic factors such as the key rate, credit conditions, and the ruble exchange rate.
Given the current economic conditions, including high interest rates on loans, which makes car loans less accessible, the company may be forced to adjust production volumes if demand continues to decline. At the same time, if the market situation improves, AvtoVAZ will be ready to offer additional volumes.
In 2025, AvtoVAZ plans to expand the LADA Largus lineup, as well as launch the production of the new LADA Iskra car, with the start of mass production in the spring. In the summer, the premiere of the first LADA crossover is planned, which will be the first model of this segment for the company in the last 30 years. In addition, in 2025, a restyling of the LADA Niva Travel model is expected, as well as the introduction of a new 1.8-liter engine on the Niva.
