Multifunctional fifth-generation Su-57 fighters, which were previously received by the Russian Aerospace Forces, received AKU-58U aircraft ejection devices. The Telegram channel "Military Informant" named the feature of these devices.
The authors drew attention to the footage demonstrating the transfer of fighters. A pair of holders for attaching the aforementioned weapons to the external suspension were installed under the wing of the aircraft.
AKU-58U will allow the use of various missiles and bombs, including Kh-59 cruise missiles, which were not originally intended to be launched from internal compartments. The fighter is capable of carrying even more ammunition, but then its visibility to radars will increase.
