A 3D demonstration concept video of the functioning of the Chinese multi-element combined echeloned air defense and anti-missile defense system "Golden Shield" from NORINCO has appeared online. The complex is focused on kamikaze UAVs and FPV drones, against which classic medium and long-range SAM systems with limited ammunition and a dead zone of 1 to 3.5 km are not effective enough.
The ammunition of automatic cannons from the anti-aircraft artillery units of the SAM system is represented by shells with remotely controlled fuses or programmable shells with shrapnel warheads. All combat modules of the "Golden Shield" system are placed on a single PLB625E platform.
A domestic system of a similar type can be built on the basis of the "Pantsir-S1" SAM system, the "Ptitselov" and "Gibka-S" military SAM systems, as well as new modifications of the "Ranets-E" electromagnetic microwave complexes, small-sized versions of the "Peresvet" laser-beam complexes, and mobile ground versions of the 101KS-O laser-beam optical-electronic countermeasures complexes from the BKO of the 5th generation Su-57 fighters.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that Su-30MS fighters of naval aviation received R-37M long-range missiles into the weapons system.
