Information System for Digital Shipyards Developed in Russia

Onega Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Plant will be the pilot enterprise for its launch

St. Petersburg State Marine Technical University has presented a new Integrated Information System for Digital Shipyards (IISCD). The innovative development of the Institute of Information Technologies, which is part of the university, received high praise from the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

We expect that these innovations will be widely used at domestic enterprises, support the course towards modernization, and become part of the digital transformation plans of Russian companies.
Vladimir Dozhdev, Director of the Department of Digital Technologies of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation

According to the press service of "Korabelka", the system was developed by the institute as part of the digital transformation and deep modernization project of the Petrozavodsk JSC "Onega Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Plant". It is based entirely on Russian software solutions from the companies "Business Technologies" and "Signum". After a successful start in Petrozavodsk, IISCD can be launched at other similar enterprises in Russia.

Currently, the institute is also developing other projects important for shipbuilding. In particular, these are digital shipyards, industrial exoskeletons for shipbuilding enterprises, and a device for countering UAV attacks.
