KARSO caravans, a manufacturer of caravans, showcased its vision of modern caravans for outdoor enthusiasts and travelers at the "Poehali 2024" exhibition in Moscow. Visitors to Expocentre saw four models of mobile homes of various capacities, designed for two, four, and five people.
Each of the models has three trim levels: basic opti, mid-range travel, and the most equipped expedition for comfort in all conditions and the most expensive. All of them are assembled on the same basis: a structure made of lightweight and insulated sandwich panels 50 by 50 mm thick, a floor with linoleum flooring, LED lighting, and liquid or air heating.
The smallest and most modest model of this caravan is the single-axle KS36 on a pneumatic independent suspension, with a welded frame made of steel profile pipes, designed for two people. It has a water supply on board from 50 to 125 liters,
As additional options, and there are about twenty of them, depending on the configuration, not only a gas outlet for the grill, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, refrigerator are offered, but also a hood, LED lighting, a ladder to the roof. You can also order and use a system for pumping water from water bodies and filtering it.
KS42 is a slightly larger single-axle model for four people, with a welded frame made of steel profile pipes, placed on a pneumatic independent suspension. Its basic version has water supplies on board from 50 to 170 liters, and as an additional option, there is also a system for pumping water from water bodies and filtering it.
Inside, you can install the same grill, dishwasher, washing machine, refrigerator and other familiar household amenities, and also, for example, add battery charging from the car while driving or adjust battery heating.
The next largest caravan model is the KS54 for four people. This is a two-axle caravan with a welded frame made of steel profile pipes, placed on a pneumatic independent suspension. In terms of volume and comfort, it surpasses the KS42.
In particular, when choosing additional options, its customers have the opportunity to replace the refrigerator with a larger one from 85 liters to 180 liters, take two additional 150 W solar panels, increase the battery capacity from 400 A to 800 A. This caravan has a basic water supply on board from 100 to 250 liters, if the customer wishes, depending on the configuration, a system for pumping water from water bodies and filtering it will be added.
Among the differences from other models, the option to change the window configuration is added to the options, depending on the configuration. You can add a window in the front bevel, which will include a mosquito net and a blackout curtain from prying eyes and light at night.
The largest of the presented models is the KS66. This two-axle caravan with a braking mechanical system of inertial type is designed for five passengers.
Customers will be able to install an additional panoramic sunroof, a special air conditioner, three 150 W solar panels with an MPPT charge controller and other comfort-providing components as additional options. In the basic version, up to 250 liters of water are placed on board the caravan, if desired, as in the other versions, a system for pumping water from water bodies and filtering it will be added.
Additional options for the maximum configuration, as in other KS models, offer more than twenty options.
In the maximum configuration with the maximum number of options, the KS66 worthily replaces the owner's hotel room or the rental of an entire cottage in the recreation area.
