JSC LOMO (part of the Kalashnikov concern), together with the main customer, has successfully completed standard tests of modernized samples of the homing head of the Verba man-portable air defense system (MANPADS).
The complex is successfully used by air defense units of the Ground Forces and Airborne Forces. "Verba" ensures the destruction of combat helicopters, tactical aviation aircraft and tactical unmanned aerial vehicles.
Given the high need to protect airspace and especially important facilities that have recently been subjected to UAV attacks by the enemy, it is necessary to increase the efficiency of MANPADS, ensuring the safety of its use in urban environments.
