AvtoVAZ hosted a conference for managers and owners of LADA dealership network companies, attended by representatives from 336 dealerships. Company President Maxim Sokolov shared preliminary results for the year and discussed plans for the near future.
In 2025, AvtoVAZ's main areas of focus will be improving and modernizing production facilities, developing the component base, supporting employees, and implementing an ambitious investment program. Sokolov noted that the production plan for 2025 is 500,000 cars, and total investments in the company's development will reach 45 billion rubles. Key projects for the next year include the launch of LADA Iskra production, as well as the release of a new version of the LADA NIVA Sport.
A new car model will be presented at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, which will be held in the summer of 2025. The forum will showcase a B+ segment crossover on the LADA Vesta platform, which will be a new product in 2026.
In addition, AvtoVAZ plans to update popular models, including the introduction of a modern 1.8-liter engine for the Niva family, which will improve their technical characteristics and appeal to buyers.
Earlier, AvtoVAZ Vice President for Sales and Marketing Dmitry Kostromin said that the company had approved the appearance of the new crossover. According to him, the new car will definitely be able to surprise consumers.
