Algeria is being called the first buyer of the Russian Su-57 fighter jets, which were presented at the international air show in China. Numerous sources indicate this, writes Bulgarian Military.
As Bulgarian Military points out, Algerian blogger Kadd Ghani mentioned the deal. However, he did not name the source of the information.

The Dutch website Scramble Magazine also noted that Russia has not officially named the buyer of the latest aircraft. However, there are rumors of an agreement with Algeria.
The number of aircraft being purchased is not yet known. However, in 2019, during the participation of the Algerian delegation in the Moscow Aviation and Space Salon (MAKS), it was reported that 14 aircraft would be purchased.
