Domestic video hosting Rutube has launched a 24/7 streaming channel Rutube TV. It uses a cloud playout service from a digital partner in the media content production, processing, and delivery industry — Sintera Media.
Rutube TV will target a young audience. The channel will feature entertainment programs, success stories, show business news, and Rutube Originals, created specifically for the younger generation.
Roskomnadzor officially registered the TV channel on October 7. Rutube TV will soon receive a broadcasting license for distribution in cable networks.
Cooperation with Sintera Media allowed us to focus on the creative side of things and optimize the costs of producing the TV channel. The successful partnership with Sintera Media gives us confidence that we will be able to effectively scale the experience gained to future projects.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Rutube became available in Google Play only for Americans.
