Footage has emerged online of hangars built for Russian low-observable Gerber kamikaze drones. Their strikes are successfully combined with heavier Geran-2 UAVs and Parody false target simulators.
The photograph shows that the Gerbers are housed in small hangars, providing protection against the high-explosive fragmentation warheads of light enemy kamikaze drones. In some projections, they will also protect against the M74 APAM fragmentation submunitions of the cluster warheads of ATACMS Block IA tactical missiles.
The Gerber drone was developed at the Gastello Design Bureau. It has an effective range of 300-400 km, a warhead mass of 5-7 kg, and a radio navigation module.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that Kalashnikov completed the shipment of combat small arms under the main contract ahead of schedule.
