The crew of the "Iskander" operational-tactical missile system hit a MiG-29 aircraft on the front line, according to a video published by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
As a result of a precise missile strike, one MiG-29 fighter was destroyed.
The ministry specified that a missile with a cluster warhead was used in the strike.
"Iskander" is a high-precision weapon with a firing range of up to 500 km. The warhead of the missile can hit almost any target: air defense systems, columns of equipment, and command posts.
The OTRK arsenal includes both cruise and ballistic missiles, which become virtually invulnerable to enemy air defense systems thanks to false electronic interference as they approach the target. Cruise missiles can bypass terrain and fly at extremely low altitudes.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the infantry legend "zushka" ZU-23-2 was equipped with a thermal imager to destroy UAVs at any time of the day.
