Как в «Терминаторе»: в России представили очки дополненной реальности для проверки транспорта на дорогах

Inspectors will be able to see vehicle data in real time

Rostransnadzor presented an innovative solution for its inspectors — augmented reality (AR) glasses at the "Transport of Russia" forum. These glasses are essentially an augmented reality headset that allows inspectors to see various data and information useful for their work. The glasses can function as a video recorder, and in the future, they can also help in the fight against corruption, making inspections more transparent.

With these AR glasses, an inspector will be able to receive information about a vehicle in real time. For example, they will be able to see the vehicle's number, make, model, issue date, and document validity period. This will significantly speed up the inspection process and improve its accuracy. In addition, the glasses allow remote connection to devices, recording of events, and automatic recording of the start of the inspection and creation of necessary documents.

The use of AR glasses in the work of a Rostransnadzor inspector not only increases efficiency but also improves safety. The inspector will have access to up-to-date information and analytical tools, which will make inspections faster and more accurate. AR glasses also increase safety, as they provide better control over the environment.

These glasses were developed by Rostransnadzor in collaboration with Astra Consulting LLC. The agency is confident that the use of AR technologies will significantly improve the work of inspectors and speed up processes related to vehicle inspection.
