Межконтинентальная «Булава»: пройдет ПРО противника, как нож масло

The power of each warhead can reach 150 kt

The Russian Navy is armed with the 3M30 (R-30) Bulava intercontinental submarine-launched ballistic missile as part of the ammunition load of Project 955/A (Borei/Borei-A) strategic missile submarine cruisers.

The three-stage 3M30 missile with a detachable 6-9 warhead MIRV with individually guided warheads has a range of up to 9,000 km. The power of each warhead is up to 150 kt.

The warhead deployment unit has a modern complex of means to overcome the enemy's ABM system both in the exoatmospheric and endoatmospheric sections of the descending branch of the trajectory.

These include: mock-ups with identical EOPs to the warheads, aerosols distorting the IR signatures of the warheads, IR traps, dipole reflectors, as well as electronic warfare modules operating in the G/X/Ku/Ka wavebands.

The missiles have inertial-navigation guidance systems combined with 3M30 optoelectronic astrocorrection modules, as well as command-telemetry modules that provide correction on the exoatmospheric cruise section of the trajectory.

About the R-30 Bulava missile

The missile with a nuclear warhead is designed to be launched from submarines. It has a length of about 12 m, a diameter of 2 m, and a weight of almost 36.8 tons.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that an important feature of the Su-57 fighters will allow to detect Storm Shadow even at hypersonic speeds.
