Ракета для отправки «Прогресс МС-29» успешно собрана и готовится к запуску: космонавты ждут ингредиенты для оливье

Launch will take place on November 21

The rocket for sending the "Progress MS-29" space cargo ship has been successfully assembled and is preparing for launch. The rocket rollout is scheduled for November 18, and the launch will take place on November 21 at 15:22 Moscow time.

The "Progress MS-29" ship will deliver about 2500 kg of various cargo to the International Space Station (ISS). Among them are 869 kg of fuel for refueling, 420 kg of drinking water, and 43 kg of compressed nitrogen. Also on board are equipment and materials for various space experiments. Among them are the "СПЛАНХ", "Лазма", "Взаимодействие-2", "Сепарация", "Вампир", "Фуллерен", "БТН-Нейтрон-2" projects, as well as materials for an experiment on 3D printing in space.

Cosmonauts of the International Space Station (ISS) Alexey Ovchinin and Ivan Wagner are planning to prepare a New Year's "Olivier" salad if the necessary ingredients are delivered to the station with the "Progress" cargo ship.

As Ovchinin said at a press conference at the Moscow Region Flight Control Center, they will try to make a salad if the ingredients are brought. He noted that in addition to food for cooking the dish, "Progress" will deliver crew clothing, food, equipment for new experiments, and New Year's gifts to the ISS.

It is expected that the New Year at the station will be celebrated traditionally. There will be a Christmas tree, special shatterproof toys, and a viewing of "The Irony of Fate."
