The "Emperium" company laid the keel of the "Baikal" cruise passenger ship (project TFRP 700) in Perm, commissioned by Vodohod LLC. The project was developed by the Petrobalt Design Bureau. The work is supervised by specialists from the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping.
The three-deck vessel is designed for cruises in the waters of Lake Baikal. It is designed for 70 passengers in cruise mode, and when operating in a sightseeing format, it can accommodate 152 passengers.
The press service emphasized that the "Baikal" will correspond to a 5-star hotel in terms of comfort. For the convenience of guests, there is a restaurant with panoramic views, a bar, a SPA, observation decks and a walking deck.
