The Wildberries team announced new rules for the purchase and sale of certified fireworks, firecrackers, sparklers, and other similar products before the New Year.
As explained in the press service of Wildberries and Russ, now it will be possible to sell only pyrotechnics of classes 1–3 on the marketplace, which are the safest to operate and store. At the same time, the sellers of such goods will store, assemble, and deliver orders to the pickup points: Wildberries will only be an intermediary between the seller and the buyer.
Also, pyrotechnics on the marketplace are becoming an adult product. To view cards and make further purchases, you will now need to confirm your age: you must be over 18 years old. Before issuing pyrotechnics at the pickup point, the customer will also be asked to present a passport.
Earlier it became known that Wildberries&Russ opened its own Fire Safety Department to protect warehouses from fires. Also in 2025, they intend to obtain a license from the Ministry of Emergency Situations to extinguish fires privately.
