44% of Russians believe that teenagers under the age of 16 should have restricted access to social networks. This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by Superjob.
Thus, among parents of children aged 7 to 16, 46% support such restrictions. However, 35% of Russians oppose the introduction of such a ban, and among parents, 34% do not support the restrictions. Such parents believe that it is necessary to restrict information that is inappropriate for children, and not access to social networks.
Earlier, one of the Russian businessmen sent a letter to the government. It proposes to legally prohibit children under the age of 14 from maintaining accounts on social networks.
