The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, part of the Rostec State Corporation) handed over another batch of new Su-57 and Su-35S aircraft to the Russian Aerospace Forces. The fighters have completed a full cycle of factory tests and have flown to the airfield of deployment.
Another batch of these aircraft will be delivered by the end of the year. The vehicles are currently at various stages of production.
Rostec noted that all the features of the fifth generation, including low visibility, have been implemented in the creation of the Su-57. Today, it is the only fifth-generation fighter that has confirmed breakthrough characteristics in all variants of combat use.
This is a formidable weapon with advanced means of destruction. The fighter is highly survivable due to its modern onboard defense system and low visibility. The aircraft continues to be improved taking into account operational experience. Production capacity for the vehicle is being expanded.
The world premiere of the Su-57 in the export version will take place at the Airshow China 2024 exhibition in China, which will be held from November 12 to 17.
